Complications of circumcision operation

I had a circumcision done recently because I had a pretty severe case of phimosis. Two days after the dressing came off, a stitch popped leaving a two centimeter hole where the incision was made. I bled for what seemed to be hours and had to deal with some agonizing pain. Turned out there was a lot of coagulated blood within the area and I think it caused a build up in pressure around the cut skin. After the doctor squeezed all of it out, it felt much better. I now have a dressing on it and my thing keeps leaking out yellow liquid from where I pee. It may be just urine, but I'm not completely sure. I have to where tight under wear to prop it up so it points toward my stomach, but it keeps dripping out on to the underwear, where it makes contact with the head. Am I prone to a uti? Should I was the head regularly (The doctor said i shouldn't get the dressing wet), and what other steps should I take to assure a safe recovery. Thanks docs.
