Guy stretched with phimocure and caused cuts

 He writes:

Hello, I'm so happy right now :D

Before finding out about my phimosis, I actually never knew exactly that the foreskin was supposed to retract all the way while having sex or for practicing healthy hygiene.

At the start of this year, I found out through porn that the foreskin was supposed to retract fully when erect. Obviously I then tried to retract in the bath and I couldn't so, I searched online and I found out that I had phimosis and that I possibly needed a circumcision. My brother was actually circumcised as a baby, I believe the reason was he had excess foreskin they said. I to this day still remember the excruciating pain he was in, and the huge amount of screaming, so this really put me off going ahead with circumcision.

For many months, I was scared of the possibility of surgery and I tried to "ignore" the problem until I finally earlier this year began to do more research and came across this reddit page. I also had purchased the phimo cure rings which I noticed progress from straight away however I didn't understand much about this all back then so I made many mistakes like wearing the rings in literally all day (really bad I know) and this caused very bad cuts which then caused my foreskin to tighten even further, and then having to wait for the cuts to heal caused a huge amount of demotivation for me to the point I gave up using them completely.

I then started getting into manual stretching with the help of this Reddit, I used the two finger stretch method but mainly the technique of retracting back as far as I could and holding this position whilst in the shower with warm water is what I found to be a huge success for me. Once I noticed I could retract when flaccid I then became very excited with my progress so started using the rings again but this time only wearing for a short amount of time, started off with 5 minutes wearing the ring and each day gradually built up time, and If I felt any pain I'd stop completely take the ring out and proceed the next day. I noticed a huge amount of success with the rings this way.

Fast forward to today and I've just successfully retracted whilst fully erect! With no tight feeling or pain when retracted, I still think I need to loosen it up more for smooth gliding back and forth, but the more I retract I feel it'll loosen up further and I also have 4 of the largest phimocure rings to use. The feeling is so amazing, and also I must mention about the pleasure, wow oh wow I can't actually believe I've been missing out on this for several years, I'm 18 now but haven't retracted since I was around 14. I'm sorry if this story sounds cringe but I'm feeling so happy for this achievement and I just wanted to share with you all.

I've taken progress pictures during my stretching journey, ( even the very bad cuts I experienced from overstretching), which I feel the need to post here to help and encourage anyone who's going through the same struggle I did. As I know how demotivating it is

Here are my progress pictures labelled below:

(Finally!! Retracted fully when erect today for the first time, with no pain/tight feeling):

(Start of my journey here, as you can see very tight at this point and wasn't even able to retract when flaccid. It was also tighter than this but I wasn't taking pictures at this stage):

Here you can see the really bad cuts that set me back, very demotivating as I wasn't able to stretch and after they had healed it was even tighter than before):

Ring Progress Pictures:

This a month ago when I could only retract half way when erect):

I remember reading these types of posts and that was what kept me motivated to continue through out my stretching journey so I feel it's only right I make one myself :)

For all those who have phimosis, stretching definitely works, and I definitely recommend committing to it as the outcome is for sure worth it.

If you have any questions or anything feel free to ask!

phimostop better than phimocure?

"So this is my personal opinion here. Since the time it takes to stretch can vary from a couple weeks to maybe some months to multiple years ( like myself), there are different approches.

I think it mostly depends on the skin your phimosis "consists of". People who are "born" with phimosis probably don't have nearly as much scarred tissue there, as people who got phimosis because of some accident or whatever.

I'm on the later side and as I understand, scarred tissue requires more stretching, that's why it takes longer.

But I'm also not an expert, maybe there are also people who cleared their phimosis a lot faster than me (still not quite finished, but very close).

Afterwards, I can say I'd personally buy myself a set of Phimostop. I own a Phimocure set and also use it, but I think Phimostop is much more efficient, although its definitely more expensive.

The main difference is that you are told to use Phimostop many hours per day, while Phimocure is just 1 hour per day ( and you can't really wear them much longer).

Also I can't confirm but I would guess that these Phimostop things are better to wear in your daily life (wearing pants, walking, changing positions).

You can also look up, Phimostop is also buyable in some pharmacies, so its safe to buy it.

I mean Phimocure works also, but I would say afterwards that Phimostop would have done the job probably faster."

Phimocure didnt work very well

He says: "Once I was able to fit a finger inside the tight ring of skin I would stretch after masturbation (the easiest way for me to stretch it) as well as use the phimocure rings periodically throughout the day, although I still had problems with the rings. I had made little progress for most of the past year, I only moved up 3 rings in about a 10 month period, when I read a post on here about leaving the rings in for an extended period of time.

Here’s the link: https://www.reddit.com/r/Phimosis/comments/hw7tar/phimocure_how_i_went_from_ring_3_to_ring_8_in_2/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf

This part is key, the rings used have to cause very little to no discomfort, as the point of the rings is just to encourage the skin to stretch to it’s full, heathy limit without too much pressure that often caused me tearing. and the OP advised to wear them overnight. I found that wearing them overnight would cause a lot of irritation, and that did lead to a slight tear, so instead I moved to wearing them for the majority of the day, and take it out in the evening, followed by some stretching a few times before I went to bed. While this was some trial and error, eventually I found a regimen that provided a good amount of stretching without tearing or damaging my foreskin."

No progress with phimocure

"Been using phimocure for about 3 months now and have made no progress at all. I wear the ring for 3 hours a day 1 hour each time, the ring is the right size but a little sore to take off. The next ring is too big. Thinking of giving up as have seen 0 progress"

25 yo, tight frenulum

"All I did was simple finger stretches, just pulling the tip apart with my index finger and thumb initially. 2 Months in I was able to fit the two fingers in and pull that way. This is every day stretching, morning and night for about 10 minutes."

Phimocure not working

"I have been struggling with phimosis for a couple years. I used to be consistent with my manual stretching + passive stretching for a while but recently feel like I lost all my progress by not stretching in October. Since restarting I just wanna make sure I am doing everything right so I don't lose motivation again like before.

my routine right now is 3 hours of passive phimocure stretching daily plus 3x 10 minute sessions of manual stretching.

In the pictures there is me with my phimocure in I was wondering if I was using that properly. I am on ring #8 btw.

I was previously able to pull my foreskin over my glans when I was lubed up right after a stretch, but it hurts when I do that so I haven't done that since August.

the last photo is me pulling my skin back flaccid and dry as far as it can go. I can't get it over the glans but I think I am close. The band is really tight and I haven't felt any stretch from it recently so any advise would be great."

Pic with phimocure ring in - notice red urethra

Been trying 5 days of stretching..how long does it take?

He writes:

"I've been stretching recently for the past five days (four times per day), and something that's been kind of frustrating is that I can't really see anything change. All the progress that I have in one session seems to be completely undone in the next, there's not really any clear progression. I don't really seem to notice that anything has really changed so far, at least on a drastic scale. Is this normal, or am I doing something wrong? When will I start to see long-term affects?"

Finger method of stretching

Editor Note: I would advise to try my advice first: http://uktightforeskin.blogspot.co.uk/

Tried it all...didnt work, so got circumcised

I've found a lot of good advice on this forum over the years so I thought I would give an overview of my situation and what I went through just in case it's helpful to other people. I have no intention of wading into a pro/anti-circumcision argument. If we must get into it I think circumcising infants is completely wrong, but obviously there are cases where for some medical reason it's justified. I don't think my story gives much backing for either side of that argument as there are pros and cons in what I went through.

To cut a long story short (no pun intended), I gave up and got circumcised about a year ago. I had a retractable foreskin as a teenager, but it was always tight. I had no idea how to stretch it properly as a 15 year old so I decided to macho my way out of it by just retracting the foreskin when flaccid and having epic masturbation sessions despite the stinging sensation I got from an erection when retracted. It used to hurt for days afterwards. It didn't get any less tight, in fact it just got tighter. I started to notice scar tissue around the edge of the foreskin. I know some people claim that can't happen. I don't buy that at all. It's exactly what happened to me - there was no yeast infection, just flat out injured skin from my moronic attempts to push through the pain barrier. This is exactly the kind of thing silly kids do when they haven't had proper information, so if you're a 15 year old kid trying to do what I did, stop now and learn how to stretch it properly.

So one day I found I couldn't retract the foreskin at all even when flaccid. I was about 18. I spent the next 12 years trying to address the problem. I purchased a glansie, the balloon device that was popular at one stage (that I've forgotten the name of), flesh tunnels, I had a prescription for betamethasone. As is the way with these things, sometimes it seemed like a little progress was being made, then I took a step back. I'd be lying if I said I spent every day of these 12 years focusing on this problem, but I gave it a pretty massive effort in my opinion. At a certain point I resigned myself to the idea that it wasn't going to work: i.e. it might work for some people, but not for me.

I didn't have sex during this time. This wasn't down to the phimosis specifically, but it didn't help. For all that we can teach people to have confidence, it just isn't very easy to know that if you're going to get intimate with a girl you're going to have to sit them down and explain phimosis to them. It might work if you're Brad Pitt. If you're on the edge of acceptability it's a different story. I was pretty shy to begin with and on the few occasions I got somewhere with a girl it was like there was a barrier preventing me from going any further. Yep, that shouldn't be the case and I should have grown some balls, but I didn't.

Towards the end, I started to get frequent discharge from under my foreskin, despite attempts to wash it properly. It felt a little raw and tender underneath the skin and using yeast infection treatments didn't seem to make it go away. It was this (rather than concerns about having sex) that finally took me to the doctor's office. At that point I was just done. It's one thing to frustratingly try and cure a cosmetic problem. It's another to have an actual medical condition that you seem incapable of treating linked to phimosis. I was just done at this point and forced myself to go through with it.

I had the operation done under local anaesthetic. If anyone does get this done (I'm not saying they should) then I would say local is better. I say that because general can cause a lot of side effects and really this wasn't a painful experience. I was lying on my back and couldn't feel anything down there (so much so that moments before the surgeon said it was finished I still wasn't sure if he'd even started the operation as I hadn't felt anything). Surgery can go wrong, but for me the discomfort of doing this was pretty low on the agenda. It seemed about as easy and painless a process as it gets.

Post-operation was a different story. It looked a mess for weeks. The nightly erections were horrendous. It was a whole pile of stress that wasn't needed. I got through it but it definitely wasn't fun. It was tender when walking for maybe two months. I knew I was over it when I played a game of tennis two months after the operation date. Now this isn't even a consideration, I can't feel any sensitivity, it's just normal.

Has it helped my confidence? Well I did have sex with someone about six months after the operation. I can't say that was all on the circumcision. I was probably just more attractive/confident as a 30 year old than I had been in my 20s and the circumstances were right. Do I regret the circumcision at this point? I'd say absolutely not, but I wouldn't recommend it for everyone. I think the message that is preached here (don't give up early and get it cut because the doctor says you should) is completely right. I gave up after 12 years of exhausting all possibilities and when it started to affect my life in more than a cosmetic way. It's a different situation entirely so I would say that any 18 year olds in my situation should definitely give it at least a few years to see if they have any progress.

Hopefully this helps someone who is just starting out on a similar path as I really wish I'd known more about the topic as that naive 15 year old kid I used to be.

A year with phimocure rings - no progress

He writes:

"I have been using phimocure rings for nearly a year and I am just so disappointed in the amount of progress made. Am I doing something wrong? I followed usage instruction but it doesn't seem to be going anywhere.

Anyways I read up that using tight rings cuts of blood flow which in turns hinders progress, so should I be using a ring that I can put on easily but gives a little pressure? because I have been using the tightest (biggest in box) ring I can fit but after 45 mins or so it starts to hurt and phimotic ring is kind of numb. Though after taking it off, it returns to normal in like 10 minutes. So should I go back down a size and use a ring I can comfortably wear for longer periods? or am I missing some kind of basic knowledge.

I have tried the finger stretching but I am just to dam lazy, or I have active hands that having my fingers holding phimotic ring is just a pain. Should I get something like the GlansPro instead? The price for these phimosis tools seems outrageous though."
