Guy has infection on glans

The patient writes: "Hello. I'm an 18 year old, who until recently, wasn't able to retract my foreskin while flaccid.

For the first time, a few days ago, I retracted it fully and noticed what looks like an infection of some kind on the left side of my penis. It also appears that my foreskin is still fused to my glans on this portion of my penis (which from what I understand might be normal for a teenager).

My questions are: does this look like a yeast infection or should I seek the advice of a doctor, or perhaps a urologist? And, is there a way for me to unfuse my foreskin from my glans?

Here is a top-down picture of my penis with the foreskin retracted:http://imgur.com/UCi550f

This is a picture of the right side of my penis. There doesn't appear to be an infection on this side.http://imgur.com/pbJd0W3

Now this is the left side of my penis, which has the infection. This area is very tender to the touch. My foreskin is fused to the glans in some places in this area as well. Could this maybe be one of the reasons for the yeast infection?http://imgur.com/DeGVtSQ

Finally, this picture is taken from the bottom of my penis. You can clearly see the differences between the left and right sides.http://imgur.com/SWVXM0z

I started using clotrimazole cream only a couple of days ago so I'm not sure if it's been helping. In addition, I haven't used soap to wash my penis in years, but maybe this infection has existed for a long time and has just gone unnoticed by me.

Thank you for all of your help on this forum. I've seen great success with the methods espoused here. It is an invaluable resource for men with foreskin troubles."

Newly pulled back foreskin reveals smegma

He writes:
So today I pulled my foreskin back for the first time ever. It felt a bit uncomfortable but went okay.
For the last 2 months I've gone from ring 2 to ring 8 in the phimocure kit, it really works!
I talked with a urologist a few weeks ago and he had unfortunately never heard about it, he said he just circumcises his patients.

However i have a question, what is this white/yellowish stuff?

Just smegma? Or is it something worse aka yeast?
It goes away if i scratch it but hurts, and I don't want to leave my foreskin back for too long, it is a bit tricky to get it back up.
I'll also have to start stretching my frenulum, because it gets tight.

18 Year old guy thinks he has a skin infection

I am using for 3 weeks fluconazol but nothing has changed... that makes me doubt if it is a fungal infection.
I think i have fungal infection because i just discovered i had phimosis and i am 18 so i haven't clean it for my whole life. I have a sexual relationship everyday but only 2 times oral without a condom and always had protected sex I don't know when it happened i never payed much attention to it... and just discovered i can look under my foreskin.

53 year old acquired phimosis from yeast infection

Hi All,

After a month of using phimocure rings I thought I'd report on my results.

I've a slightly tight foreskin for as long as I can remember (I'm 53), I fact I think I was in my 20s before I actually realised it was supposed to retract - pre internet and in the porn mags I looked at I assumed the men where the glans could be seen must have been circumsised !

Whenever I have sex my foreskin would always stay retracted behind the corona and would need a tug to bring back over the glans. Then about a month ago I got thrush. My girfriend gave me some cream and that cleared it up after a few days - but my foreskin was left tight, I think that was partly due to the thrush but also due to the fact I'd only met this girl recently and we were having frequent and very vigorous sex ! Anyway that's when I thought I'd give the phimocure rings a try.

I started on the 3rd smallest and today I am using the 2nd largest for the first time. When flaccid my foreskin is now sliding back effortlessly, but when fully erect there is still a slight tightness when it passes over the corona. I'm hopeful when I progress the largest ring there will be no tightness at all. I'm particularly looking forward to experience 'gliding' when masturbating and having sex, although I have read that some men don't like the gliding action. Does anyone have views or experience of not being able to glide and becoming able to ?

I think the largest size ring may to the trick for me (I'm quite small) but I can imagine they are not large enough for larger penises.

I see a lot of people on here having trouble inserting the rings, I to struggled with the recommended technique of folding the rings prior to inserting then snapping them open - I couldn't get the larger rings to snap into place. What I do now is to massage some lube into my retracted foreskin (becoming semi-erect), I then push the (unfolded) ring onto my glans and with my other hand roll my foreskin over the ring. I realise this may not work in very tight cases - but it seems to work for me.
