Early 20's - did not know it was supposed to retract - hasn't bothered him

He writes:
I'm a guy in my early twenties, and I only just realized that I'm supposed to be able to retract the foreskin behind the glans. Currently, I can only retract to where the tip of the glans becomes visible, erect and flaccid. I'm too scared to retract it any further, because it feels really tight and I'm scared I'll tear something or it might get stuck. Nobody ever told me that this should be possible (even though circumcision is rare where I grew up), and I always assumed that the penises in porn looked different because of circumcision.

Because this condition has never bothered me before, I'm trying to decide if I should be working to "fix" it. I've never had an infection, nor have I ever noticed any strange smells. I can masturbate without problem by stimulating the glans through the foreskin. Similarly, I have no issues with sensitivity when with a partner, and have achieved ejaculation both from hand jobs and oral sex. I've never had full penetrative sex, so I'm wondering whether I would have issues there. Most posts seem to suggest that it would be fine with a condom or lots of lube.

So the only reason I haven't started with the stretching exercises is that I'm not sure if I need to address this condition. I would greatly appreciate any advice from others who have been in this situation. Thanks in advance.

Newly pulled back foreskin reveals smegma

He writes:
So today I pulled my foreskin back for the first time ever. It felt a bit uncomfortable but went okay.
For the last 2 months I've gone from ring 2 to ring 8 in the phimocure kit, it really works!
I talked with a urologist a few weeks ago and he had unfortunately never heard about it, he said he just circumcises his patients.

However i have a question, what is this white/yellowish stuff?

Just smegma? Or is it something worse aka yeast?
It goes away if i scratch it but hurts, and I don't want to leave my foreskin back for too long, it is a bit tricky to get it back up.
I'll also have to start stretching my frenulum, because it gets tight.

A guy finds new skin fold - new skin growth?

He writes:
Hello, everyone!

It's been a while...and I'm bringing good news! I'm improving more and more each day. Something new has appeared in my penis, and I wanted to show it to you, as I don't know if it has a meaning or not. I have a new skin fold that was not there before. The picture which you will see shows the left side of my penis, and I don't have that same fold on the right one.

Look at where my finger is pointing. This is a new (or so I think) fold on my foreskin:

Of course, this doesn't hurt at all, it is nothing that makes me worry, but I'm curious. I don't think it's ugly neither, I just wanted to ask something: Does this mean that I'm done with stretching? Do these folds mean that I have enough skin at this moment? If it's that way, that means that I have to stop stretching.

You can see my penis as it looks right now (pic 2). The hourglass has remarkably remitted

According to these two pictures...do you recommend to keep on stretching? Any advice would be much appreciated. I feel more confortable each day, my foreskin has grown a lot in width and I can retract and masturbate as I desire. Maybe my frenulum is still a bit short, but that's nothing I can't fix. Thank you!

Video of masturbation technique that can damage the spongy chambers of the penis and cause phimosis

Source: http://adolescentexxx.tumblr.com/post/118431075533/kyokemokyo-lush-tight-foreskin-on-this-twink

Editor Note:  Things to note:  The underside of the penis - the corpus spongiosum - is very flat - it seems deflated.  You can see this when he takes his hand away at the 1:15 mark.  Another thing to note is the pronounced red line called the raphae.  A frequent feature of phimosis.  Again - a thing to note - is that there is no sign of a skin disease such as BXO/Lichen Sclerosus.

Short frenulum but has seen improvement

Thought I would share my progress to encourage people to let them know this actually works.

It's a lot less tight than a couple of days ago, when I retract now it doesn't strangle the glans as much and it's getting more to it's natural shape. I'm itching to fully retract to give it a proper clean!

25 yo

He writes: I'm 25 and only had sex once, where I couldn't even orgasm because it was too painful for me to retract my foreskin while inside her. I've spoken to a doctor about this and he mentioned I have phimosis, and that my skin is supposed to pull all the way back without pain. It is also supposed to help desensitize the head as I do this. He mentioned trying on some cream and pull back the skin more and more daily. I have tried the daily pull back without the cream for about a month without progress. I am considering trying the cream but am worried this will make it worse because I noticed part of the skin has fused with the glans. It was always like this before I saw the doctor. I have always masturbated frequently by humping against blankets, sheets, and pillows, which I have read can cause this fusion. I've stopped doing it since.

I would like to ask if anyone has had similar problems and how they managed to fix it. Would greatly appreciate any resources you can share. I've recently got a girlfriend who I am very close with and want to be able to have sex her like a normal guy. Really don't want to do surgery however. Do I have other options?

Editor note: This is further proof of my theory that damage to the 3 spongy chambers of the penis from applying too much pressure in masturbation can lead to phimosis (http://uktightforeskin.blogspot.com).  Note that in his erect pics, the penis isnt very hard.  Another thing you may notice is the meatus (the peehole) is reddened - which is another common feature of phimosis.

Seems like BXO

Patient could retract until 2 years ago.

Editor note: These white patches on the foreskin indicate Balanitis xerotica obliterans (BXO) or Lichen Sclerosus.  These 2 diseases are thought to be the same.  Amazingly a cause has not been found.

Another case

Just starting out

Hello Forum,
I have 2 month of stretching behind me now, and so far the results are amazing. I can retract my foreskin now while flaccid and even when semi-erect. So I have the feeling that I am almost finished with this procedure but recently I have noticed a feeling of sharp pain when trying to pull back.

1) On the pictures that I have added here you can see that a certain “hourglass” effect is present, is there any way that this will completely disappear when I continue stretching?

2) What do I personally mean by stretching? First of all as I started out I had a very tiny opening and I stretched it by retracting the skin in flaccid state until I felt some resistance. This was in my opinion successful I basically used the glans as a resistance. With the Progress I changed from doing that in the erect state so I had more resistance and more girth. I did not use any other method I did not use a stretching device or some silicon rings, or the two finger method. Can I stick to my method or is it only useful when you want to achieve results for flaccid retraction?

3) Now I have changed my routine in the last 2 weeks. I have started to use Hydrocort Creme 0,25 % which can be bought without a recipe from the doctor. And I don’t know if it is just my imagination or if my skin did really “thin” out. I have stopped using this crème 2 days ago and just continued with my stretching routine (3 times a day for 15-20 minutes)

I also have reduced the amount of masturbation to once every 2 days so my skin gets less irritation from that but I somehow feel demotivated that all the effort I have put in the last 2 month have reached their limits and that I am stuck.
Should I make a break of two days to give the skin time to recover or should I continue my routine and ignore the pain? Can my progress be lost when I stop for 2 days? I basically had no breaks within the last 2 month

Editor note: His reduction in masturnation is likely why he has seen improvement.  Simple as that.

Strange looking penis

Well, it's finally time to tackle this wee problem, now that I've a significant other! I hope you fine folks can be of service to a bashful late bloomer~

I have a very tight, droopy overhanging foreskin, since as long as I can remember. For a long time I didn't even realize foreskins were supposed to be pulled back, and I thought it was normal, so I never got used to the idea, and now it's essentially stuck like this (see image). Now I realize how unhygienic and generally unwise it is, but I've got a bit of an issue pulling it back (thank god I DIDN'T need to get circumcised like the first doctor insisted). I know it's possible since I did go see a doctor about it a few years back and he did pull it back manually, but I haven't been able to really do so myself without feeling very uncomfortable. But it's time--I'm finally trying to overcome my anxiety over anything my-penis-related. Better late than never!

I guess my question is what I should do to make it less tight? Thanks~(Note: I currently live abroad, so I don't know if I'll have a ton of luck finding whatever medicine/specialist might be recommended, but I'll try my best)

Editor note:  I am guessing for his skin to be manipulated like that - he must have had a certain masturbation technique which pushed the foreskin forward - I talk about how this can cause phimosis in my other blog: http://uktightforeskin.blogspot.co.uk/

Black guy - moderate case

So, i've been doing foreskin stretching for a while and have reached the point where i can retract behind the head and even halfway down the shaft while erect. However, i realized that when i roll the foreskin back over the glans, the inner foreskin doesn't roll back over fully. Here's some pics.
Also, i have like a bruise or bump on my foreskin that I've had since i could retract the foreskin (which has been 3-4 yrs). It is slightly painful, but only if i were to rub it. It is slightly raised and just doesn't look that good. I've been looking online and couldn't figure out what it is. I don't really remember experiencing any pain in my penis ever so im not sure what's the cause, but it looks like its connected to a vein. Its that little dark circle right above my finger. I was thinking maybe castor oil could possibly remove it/heal it. Know what this is?

Update to old post

Update to 21 year old Spanish guy (1 March): http://phimosiscases.blogspot.co.uk/2015/03/21-year-old-spaniard-guy.html

Update 1 (March 6): I just wanted to share my progress with all of you, so any guy here can learn from examples and also I can ask for more advice. I'm almost able to fit three fingers in my foreskin, which I couldn't do at the beginning, so I must be doing something right. Also, I wanted to show you two more pictures:
1. I'm afraid there's a scar here...there are some lines that look unnatural and I'm very afraid about that. I still feel motivated, but, if there's really a scar here, I wish I could fix it ASAP. If I have a scar, how should I fix it? I don't want to take unnecesary risks, I know you guys can guide me through the right path! ;)

2. Maybe it's just daydreaming due to my desire to get rid of my tight foreskin problems, but I think that the hourglas shape that you could see in the previous photos has somehow decreased, don't you think? (http://i.imgur.com/YLATRSy.jpg)I know there are still lots of work to do, but I will continue until I fix this problem!

Update 2 (April 2):

Hello, everybody!
It's been a while, isn't it? I hope all of you have been doing OK since the last time we talked.

I want to post this new message because I want you to know about my progress and also there are a few things that I want to ask. First of all: progress is more than visible! Of course I believed in all these ideas and posts when I started stretching, but now I'm more convinced than ever, stretching DOES work and it is helping me a lot! The last time, I told you that I could fit three fingers into my foreskin, and now I can insert four fingers. I need both hands, and I can insert two fingers from each hand, so they form the four vertices of a square. This is a great sign of progress. Also, I can retract my foreskin when erect, which I couldn't do even in my dreams at the beginning! Masturbation is becoming more pleasurable as my foreskin tends to move more with my hand when I'm at it, and it's great! I have started using lubricant gel for masturbation and it helps a lot, for both pleasure and foreskin movement and stretching. All of these things are possible thanks to your knowledge, your efforts and all those men who have shared their experience, so thanks a lot, I owe you a big one!

As for questions:

1. My foreskin can be retracted when erect, but it's still not fully functional. I just need more stretching to make it wider and allow easier gliding, right?

2. Although I can retract without pain when erect, the hourglass shape has not disappeared, specially when I'm flaccid. This is more of an aesthetical issue rather than a health one, but I thought it was meant to disappear. Is this just a sign of a need for more stretching? I am patient and hard-working, so I will continue with the exercises as much as needed.

3. I am starting to think that my frenulum is too short. There is no way I can pull my foreskin behind the corona when I'm erect. When I'm flaccid, I can turn my foreskin inside-out by retracting it behind the corona with no limitations, although my penis bents downwards...so, should I train my frenulum as well? I have read lots of cases, and, of course, the recommended exercises. Should I take the same considerations I take about my foreskin? I mean, 10 minutes per time, 3 times per day would be enough or maybe too much? I really want to know this, as the frenulum is a much smaller area than the foreskin and so I think it could be stretched more easily...but it could be damaged more easily as well, so I'm a bit afraid about this.

And this is it. It's been almost two months since I started stretching. This is a slow process, but also extremely valuable, so I feel motivated each and every day, specially when I see results and when I achieve points that I couldn't reach before. I will continue until I beat this problem for good, and I want to encourage other boys to do the same, because it is possible! Thanks!

Update 3 (April 28):
I hope you've been OK since the last time. I wanted to tell you that my case is almost solved...or so I think! I want to show you a few pictures to check my progress. Also, I think they will help boys who come here asking for help, as they can see my results, which are more than visible.

I also have a little issue...I have a sore spot on the left side of the inner part of my foreskin, and I don't know why. This has been worrying me for months. I can see the inside of my foreskin and I have not found any strange mark or injury, so I think it will disappear when I finish my training...

Here are the pictures!

1. Here, you can see the inside of my foreskin. I wanted to show you how flexible I've become through exercising, and also I want you to check if you see anything strange which could explain why I feel soreness sometimes. There's still appreciable tightness, but I know that my training is not finished yet, so it will improve with time.

2. In second picture, you can see my foreskin retracted in a semi-erect status. I think that my hourglass curves have slightly remitted, but I don't know. The truth is that I don't feel pain nor uneasiness, so I think I'm doing fine so far.

3. The third pic shows my opening. I was erect in that moment, and you can see that my glans is somehow revealed. This opening was much smaller before! There's no problem with this picture, I just wanted to share it for other boys to see how stretching really works, I think we need lots of motivation with this.

4. This is my favorite one. I can finally retract when erect. I am still a little tight, but I couldn't do this even in my dreams before stretching. Just as the previous one, I wanted to share this picture for boys from this forum to make them sure that this is real and they can overcome their problems with their penises. I can also masturbate with my foreskin retracted, and it becomes easier and more pleasurable each day, so this is very profitable and beautiful.

The only real question that I have this time is the one about that sore zone. The rest is just to keep in touch with my progress and encourage other boys and men to fight like I'm doing. Thank you, guys, see you!
