53 year old acquired phimosis from yeast infection

Hi All,

After a month of using phimocure rings I thought I'd report on my results.

I've a slightly tight foreskin for as long as I can remember (I'm 53), I fact I think I was in my 20s before I actually realised it was supposed to retract - pre internet and in the porn mags I looked at I assumed the men where the glans could be seen must have been circumsised !

Whenever I have sex my foreskin would always stay retracted behind the corona and would need a tug to bring back over the glans. Then about a month ago I got thrush. My girfriend gave me some cream and that cleared it up after a few days - but my foreskin was left tight, I think that was partly due to the thrush but also due to the fact I'd only met this girl recently and we were having frequent and very vigorous sex ! Anyway that's when I thought I'd give the phimocure rings a try.

I started on the 3rd smallest and today I am using the 2nd largest for the first time. When flaccid my foreskin is now sliding back effortlessly, but when fully erect there is still a slight tightness when it passes over the corona. I'm hopeful when I progress the largest ring there will be no tightness at all. I'm particularly looking forward to experience 'gliding' when masturbating and having sex, although I have read that some men don't like the gliding action. Does anyone have views or experience of not being able to glide and becoming able to ?

I think the largest size ring may to the trick for me (I'm quite small) but I can imagine they are not large enough for larger penises.

I see a lot of people on here having trouble inserting the rings, I to struggled with the recommended technique of folding the rings prior to inserting then snapping them open - I couldn't get the larger rings to snap into place. What I do now is to massage some lube into my retracted foreskin (becoming semi-erect), I then push the (unfolded) ring onto my glans and with my other hand roll my foreskin over the ring. I realise this may not work in very tight cases - but it seems to work for me.
